The Ambulance Heritage Society is dedicated to preserving the history , heritage and indeed the memory of the Ambulance Service worldwide.<\/p>\n
Made up of a team of volunteers , many of whom are retired or serving ambulance personnel along with dedicated craftsmen and enthusiasts.<\/p>\n
We all have one common goal , preserving and promoting the history of the ambulance, the vehicles, equipment , uniforms , techniques and the evolution throughout the years for generations to come.<\/p>\n
We attend many public displays and shows throughout the year, as well as providing vehicles and equipment for TV and Film productions nationwide.<\/p>\n
We pride ourselves on the ability to have a host of rare equipment, vehicles and uniforms covering all periods from the late 1890`s through to 2005, along with the personal memories and experiences giving the AHS the edge when it comes to producing interesting and informative hands on school and college education talks.<\/p>\n
