About Us

The Ambulance Heritage Society is dedicated to preserving the history , heritage and indeed the memory of the Ambulance Service worldwide.

Made up of a team of volunteers , many of whom are retired or serving ambulance personnel along with dedicated craftsmen and enthusiasts.

We all have one common goal , preserving and promoting the history of the ambulance, the vehicles, equipment , uniforms , techniques and the evolution throughout the years for generations to come.

We attend many public displays and shows throughout the year, as well as providing vehicles and equipment for TV and Film productions nationwide.

We pride ourselves on the ability to have a host of rare equipment, vehicles and uniforms covering all periods from the late 1890`s through to 2005, along with the personal memories and experiences giving the AHS the edge when it comes to producing interesting and informative hands on school and college education talks.
