Schools & Colleges
A big part of the Ambulance Heritage Society`s philosphy is that we are actively promoting ambulance history through education and public talks.
We help to take the fear out of travelling in an ambulance , along with fun demonstrations and activities.
We have a dedicated Public Relations team that attends schools and colleges to provide hands on learning to students of all ages , providing history talks access to decommissioned medical equipment whilst also promoting our modern day ambulance services.
The Ambulance Heritage Society rely on public donations to carry out our work, though we are self funded we do not charge for school visits.
Groups & Association Talks
We are available to give history talks throughout the East Midlands on all aspects of the ambulance and medical history .Many times depending on available space we will bring specific items and a vehicle from the period to be talked about (depending on space and vehicle availability).
